For parents
Build the Periodic Table is made for kids, so we built it to be safe and simple for families.
What you can count on
- No ads, ever. Not now and not in any future version.
- No accounts. Kids pick a nickname from a list. No names, emails or passwords.
- Progress stays on the device. Elements collected, scores and settings are saved on your child's device, and we can't see them.
- Anonymous play info only with your OK. The game asks an adult once whether it may send anonymous info like which questions are tricky. It's off unless you say yes, and you can turn it off any time in Settings.
- An adult check before purchases and links. The one purchase and every way out of the app sit behind a quick adult check.
- Delete everything any time. Settings, then Saved Data, removes one player or everything.
What it costs
The game is free to download. A one-time purchase through the App Store unlocks the full game. There are no subscriptions. Apple handles payment and refunds; see Support.
Is it right for my child?
It's aimed at grades 3–8. Younger players can start on Easy, which focuses on everyday elements like oxygen, carbon and gold. Hard and Extreme are there for kids who want a real challenge.
